Remove Headlight Unit
1. Remove front bumper
2. There are 5 plugs connected into the unit for indicator, side light, headlight, main beam and a triangular plug for the headlight level adjustment motor. All obviously need to be disconnected. To take the plugs out, the indicator, side light and main beam require a quarter twist anti-clockwise. The H7 headlight connector (a small white rectangular block of plastic) needs to be pulled out. Beware of the triangular motor plug as it is very difficult to remove, and I had to remove this with a set of plyars to push the clip connector down and away.
3. Now that all wires and plugs have been disconnected, you now need to remove the bolts that hold the unit in. There are 3 in total, and all bolts require a 10mm socket.
4. The unit can now be pulled out. Note that for the drivers side unit, this is also clipped to the screen wash container, so this also needs to be unclipped for removal.
