Climate Control Test Procedure

Here is a way to test the climate control system:

1. put key in ignition
2. press both auto and recirculate buttons
3. whilst keeping these 2 buttons pressed, turn key to ON
4. all LED's will flash 4 times
5. sensors will be checked and returns the following codes:

00 no problem
11 trouble with inside air sensor
12 trouble with outside air sensor
13 trouble in sensor after evapolator
14 trouble in water temp signal
21 trouble in sunlight sensor
22 locked compressor
31 wiring trouble in air mix servo
33 wiring trouble in mode mix servo
41 malfunction of air mix servo
43 malfunction of mode mix servo

I'm not too sure what all these codes mean exactly, and what can be done if an error is found.

I get an error 21, but this is normal on non-US cars as they have no sunlight sensor.
